Fantastic stay at grange boutique. In terms of a review it’s actually quite hard to do, on the face of it the value is poor. We paid £155 and the room was off the hotel lobby about 5m from the front door, the windows didn’t lock and are accessible from the street (though was offered to bolt it shut and there’s cctv etc), the bathroom was a little dated and there was a big stain on the ceiling which apparently occurred the week before.
The negatives out the way, the host Jackie was genuinely fantastic and to me you can offset the money on the slightly sub standard room with essentially a local area tour guide, a friendly face and super accommodating. Breakfasts are great too and they dealt with Covid really well. The hotel location is perfect for the area too.
They are in the process of upgrading the room we stayed in so would recommend not staying in the room next to the lobby as the room is relatively expensive for what you get.
