Needs to be updated, great staff.

Posted 21-Feb-2017
The staff at the counter were super nice. The facilities need to be updated, they have been overused and abused. Breakfast was meager.

Pros: It was convenient for the 1 night I needed it.
It was fine for one night. Nothing special but I did like the big dresser on which sat the TV.

Decent...But One Problem...

Posted 21-Dec-2016
Pros: It was quite, nice on the outside, and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: I know it is difficult, but double checking the heaters in every room to ensure that there are no odd smells coming out of them.
Location: Very nice, unbusy area, close to a Starbucks and a Chinese buffet around the corner.
We traveled from the Phoenix for our niece's graduation from NAU. The hotel was perfectly decent. The room was adequate, the outdoor space is nice. I would have given a better review, but one thing was wrong. We had set the heater on when we left for dinner. When we got back, the whole room smelled very odd, like cat food, or tuna. We could not figure it out. We turned off the heater as we assumed that it was the culprit. The next morning, the smell was gone. Other than that, it is a perfectly fine room for the money. I would assume that it would be unlikely that all the rooms would have this problem. I mean, I could have been a guest that tampered with the heating. And one other thing... Since this was myself and my partner, the woman working the front guest seemed just slightly surprised when she mentioned room "with only one king bed?" if you know what I mean.

Had a wonderful stay, staff were great! Rooms met our needs and were clean and comfortable. Close to I40, flagstaff location was great, the guy working the am shift was super kind and had a cool dog named Bob that played with my sisters dog, Baby B! Thanks so much, April (Los Angeles, Ca. Hotel of convenience

Posted 27-Nov-2016
We stopped at America's Best Value Inn in Flagstaff, AZ on our way to NM. We arrived late (2am), and left early (7am). I showered in the morning whIle many others showered so the hot water wavered to warm at times. The staff served complimentary breakfast- toast, cereal, danishes, coffee/juice. I ate the danishes and they were fresh and delicious. The other guests were mostly families so we didn't have problems with noise. The heater worked perfectly, no complaints really, it was a standard stay.
