"We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and extremely well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The pool and common areas are fantastic, and the entire property feels like a true luxury resort. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. The service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and high-quality options. The location in Barra da Tijuca is beautiful and peaceful, making it perfect for relaxing while still enjoying everything Rio has to offer. Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro truly delivers a five-star experience. We left extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a luxurious stay in Rio de Janeiro. "Housekeeping was almost nonexistent. Had to call them at check-in because room was filthy and daily’s they would need to be called for towels. Breakfast and concierge service was awesome and pool area was also great. No amenities and no upgrade offered and 2 free drinks during stay omitted."

"Everything was great from arrival to departure. It is in a great location. It felt very safe to go out walking in the day. There was a Western Union around the corner for currency exchange if you needed it. There were some places to eat just doors away and taxis to places like the Copacabana Palace end of town and Roxy Dinner show were easy to get and cheap. We were in a Fairmont Gold club room and the lounge was lovely with views over Copacabana beach towards Sugar Loaf, and great for breakfast. I had fresh made omelette every day. The white wine in the lounge was not great, but the red was fine. The spa was lovely and compared to some hotel spas not horrifically priced. Housekeeping were excellent and brought extra water and clean towels in the evening and the corridors were quiet at night. We had no internal noise although the sliding patio doors let some external noise in but not enough to keep you awake. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The lounge staff could not have been more helpful and arranged a car to take us to the Roxy and back. It was not very much more than an Uber but we had a dedicated person waiting for us as soon as the show finished. All in all a great hotel experience and would recommend this hotel."

"Wow spectacular I really liked the hotel and my family also, the atmosphere really good, very quiet, the restaurant was perfect, the attention very kind all the staff, no problems in the hotel, I only have one suggestion for the hotel, coffee and tea should be free inside of the property, because when I finished to eat inside of the restaurant, my mom wanted a cup of tea, so they have the hot water, but the small bag of tea had a price, that was in the bar, after the dinner wow it was surprised for me, so at the end, it’s something that you should to improve, but In general, Everything was amazing, thanks…"
Hotel Atlantico Business Centro

"It's a great hotel for the location. Near Cinelandia and Lapa, short ride to several businesses, consulates and Santos Dumont airport. Perfect view of the Sugar Loaf mountain from the rooftop by the pool. Staff was attentive and helped with what they could. However during my stay, the boiler broke down and there was no hot water for several hours into the night, so no hot shower that day. I also was shocked they didn't have a proper business center (with a "business " name and everything). TV only had local channels and awful signal, so couldn't even check/watch some of the World Cup. Wifi was a hit or miss, often only working in the lobby area. 2 elevators and one was under repairs, so 1 elevator for 19 floors, I was using the stairs often. Breakfast was excellent. If they fixed whatever wasn't working during my stay, it's a great hotel."
