Wow. In 20 years of international travel I've stayed in some truly amazing hotels and this one is right up there. The service--perfection. The room--immaculate and beautifully appointment. Great food and exceptional location. My girlfriend arrived early in the morning, ahead of me, and the hotel (unprompted) brought up breakfast for her. This place has class.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I both had an excellent experience at this hotel. We visited Rio in mid July, which is winter in Rio, and found that the hotel does not have heaters. But, they gladly provided us with warm blankets upon request. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. And, I would visit again.

The location was great as it was right on the beach. Unfortunately the information on the Expedia listing was not 100% accurate. The listing stated payment was due upon arrival and in reality the residence required 50% upon booking and the remaining 50% three days before arrival. In addition, the listing stated the room was ocean front and three days prior, the hotel informed me that the room was not ocean view. The good side, the hotel staff was very nice and allowed us to check in early and stay late due to the overnight flights coming in and departing Rio.

The acclamations are trendy. Wifi mostly with the building. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Also helpful with directions and event planning.

Spent only one night at this hotel but it was a great stay. It is perfectly located opposite Copacabana beach and easy to get from there to central Rio by either taxi or the metro system (a station a few blocks away, Cardeal Arcoverde).The reception staff was very accommodating and corteous, and they speak English too. The other hotel staff were also friendly and ready to help. The Superior Room was very spacious, clean, with comfortable beds, spot on linen, good range of toiletries, a large TV, a safe box, and wardrobe of good size. Breakfast was buffet style with great variety of fruit, bed, cooked food, yoghurt, juice, tea and good coffee. There is also a swimming pool with bar at the roofterrace, and the view from there is amazing, well worth a drink at the brief dusk.Also, they offer a free shuttle to Galeao international for guests that run about once from the morning until about early evening, you can book it online at the hotel's webpage. Overall, a great holiday at a comfortable hotel.

Outstanding experience at Pestana Rio Atlantica. Helpful and available staff, and a wonderful view of Copacabana beach.
