Occidental Bilbao

"The hotel is in good overall condition, and the service at the restaurant during dinner was superb. I would especially like to recognize the red-haired lady who worked on the evening of Monday, 09/28/26. She was absolutely wonderful and provided excellent service. I hope the manager can share our comments and appreciation with her (guests from Miami). The hotel’s location is something to consider. I would not recommend it for guests who want to be in the center or within walking distance of the Old Town, as the main attractions are not easily accessible on foot. However, if you are comfortable using Uber, the location is not a major issue. The housekeeping service was excellent. My only suggestion would be to give the bathroom shower a more thorough deep cleaning. The breakfast is expensive, there are many other places at the old town with excellent selection, and cheaper. Overall, this is a good hotel choice as long as you take into consideration that the main attractions and Old Town are not within walking distance."

"We parked both nights, but as with most hotels in these cities, it’s tight parking. Staff were friendly enough. Room was clean and had what we needed. Gym is average. We never ate in the hotel."

"Amazing place to stay right in the centre of Bilbao The car parking was great - it’s a tight car park for bigger cars but right underneath the apartments. The hotels.com listing says that they don’t provide cribs but when you fill in the check in questionnaire you can request one for free and it was set up in our room ready. Completely clean and great facilities, small kitchenette was well stocked. Room and bathroom were both a great size. Would definitely stay here again in the future!"
