"The property was not clean - needs a good deep clean as it was not good enough for a holiday rental. The basin in the bathroom was not draining - my husband pulled this apart and it was clogged with hair (yuck)! The double bed mattress was rock hard and had a sleepless night and sore hips. We went and bought a mattress topper the next day so we could sleep. There is not enough comfortable seating for 4 people (1 x 2seater lounge only). The TV is impossible to use. "Great location opposite train station and walkable to eateries and shopping.Very comfortable bed. Room was nicely decorated but a luggage rack would be handy and a couple of hooks in bathroom. staff were pleasent and helpful"

"Second time we’ve stayed here and it works well for our family of 5 with one toddler who sleeps with us. I like the old world cozy feel. One thing that could be improved is communication because we were travelling late at night and had a very late check in but hotels.com didn’t send us check in instructions how to get into the property I had a hard time finding the check in message until I actually went into the app to message the property and that’s when I found it. It should have been emailed to me with the booking confirmation and that would’ve avoided a few moments of panic at midnight. I did try to call at around 7pm but the phone line doesn’t work."
