Loved the location and the great views

This hotel exceeded all my expectations, from the staff, to the room, and the restaurant. They were extremely dog friendly, and we felt right at home. The room was gorgeous and stacked. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. The only downside is the gym was a bit small and crowded. It’s in a great location, and I felt very safe. Often walked alone at night with my dog.

I recently stayed at The Fifth Avenue Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The hotel has a really unique vibe that sets it apart from many of the luxury hotels in New York. It combines a beautifully restored historic building with modern design, and every space feels thoughtfully curated and full of character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the room made the stay feel extra special. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or any The Fifth Avenue Hotel definitely isn't cheap, but if you're looking for a luxury stay with personality, great service, and beautiful design, it's absolutely worth considering. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable New York hotel experience.

Overall it was a great stay! Best part of the cottage was the bathroom with its deep big tub and walk in shower. But the room itself lacked visual appeal & some conveniences usually associated with booking a cottage which is more private and removed from the house. Could use more and better art in the room. I would also trade all the storage space for a mini fridge, tea kettle or coffee maker. Also the only full-size mirror is hidden far back in the bathroom which isn’t terrible but very inconvenient to check the outfit before heading out the door. It’s little odd things that just made it not feel like a luxury stay. And no one mentioned to us beforehand that the sauna, gym, pool area (even though in off season) was under renovation and not available to use. The restaurant was amazing though, room service was wonderful. And staff were adorable. But I don’t know if we would book again tbh.
