"Excellent hotel, the staff were all absolutely brilliant! Wonderful local recommendations (and cocktails!) from the bar staff, dinner in the restaurant was incredible - the oysters were fabulous! "Car park full of van drivers always in disabled car parking spaces and nothing done about it. Parking cost is a bit much when it’s not a basic hotel. Perfect from there on in. Always friendly welcome, loved the dog station, loved the honesty pantry, Jacob and manager so lovely and welcoming. Very genuine not forced. Put me on g/floor for ease. Breakfast good and plenty. Room clean and airy, please put more plug/usb on both sides of the bed. So many items now to charge."

"I had great overnight stay for a work trip. My room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. Modern on/off button shower was good. The tv reception was not great (BBC1 didn't work), the carpet a little worn and the shower leaked to the bathroom floor but these were minor details and didn't really impact my overall view. I slept well, the staff were friendly and the best thing was the breakfast. Recommended for an overnight stay."
