The Dolphin

"Overall: Perfect location, comfortable bed, ample parking, excellent breakfast, efficient staff and overall, a good stay. However, our room was rather 'tired'. The mounted headboard had fallen off the wall and not been repaired (very noisy until wedge with pillows/cushions), old/used tissues behind bed and side units, many unidentified stains on the chair. However, breakfast room was clean and pleasant and the continental as well as cooked options were excellent. Would stay again but just not in that room/would check room first."
The Royal Lion Hotel

"Great location, great price ! Use of the swimming pool was very welcome. Really nice room although the windows weren't great at keeping out noise, especially at night. Breakfast was amazing - so much choose and plenty of healthier options. Would stay here again. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the evening which messed up our plans... Ended up having fish and chips by the mill - still nice!"
Holiday Inn Express Exeter East by IHG

"Great one night stop before flying out of Exeter airport, I believe there are fairly close bus options to get to the airport but personally opted for an uber. Nice clean rooms, air con which is not always a standard in UK hotels and exceptionally clean bathroom. Had a great nights sleep! Nice friendly bar behind reception with lots of seating and with prompt service, lots of options for drinks and felt comfortable rather than a lot of hotels these days that tend to make you feel like you are trying to have a beer in reception! Will be staying here again for future flights out of EXT."
Exeter Court Hotel

"For what we paid, this was excellent value for money. The room was a little dated, but perfectly comfortable and the bathroom has been returned very nicely. Really helpful staff, super clean room and breakfast was relatively basic, but had several options and was plentiful. It doesn't have many frills.....but you are paying a no frills price. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again"
Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

"It’s a lovely hotel. A little bit dated now, in places, but overall really nice in a nice setting and location. The staff were friendly although there were a few occasions things were asked for and not delivered on. I put this down to them being young and maybe not fully engaged with their roles. Could maybe do with some senior leadership to raise standards to where they could easily be. I would recommend and I would stay again. Just manage your expectations. Don’t expect the best. But overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I paid for breakfast both mornings. The food quality was great but often things were missing and not replenished. A little disappointing at £16 pp price point."

"Room was clean and adequate Did not like to be next door to the big exit door 😳 as got woken up a few times the room could do with a deep clean I love the shower room did not have breakfast but it smelt very nice 😀 would stay again as price was good"
