El Porxo is a beautiful home/bed and breakfast in a quiet neighbourhood about 20 mins walk (5 mins bus or drive) outside the city centre. The neighbourhood has good restaurants and shops. Hosts are wonderfully welcoming and the breakfast is incredible.

A hidden oasis off a bustling street. My wife and I had a perfect stay here for one night. We loved the decor and the building. A gem of a place.

we were able to check in at midday upon arrival from the airport, very efficient check in & a nice welcome. Our room was clean & cool, nicely appointed, enough space to move around in, huge bathroom with large walk in shower. A kettle in the room was very much appreciated,minibar was well stocked. Our room was 3rd floor, at rear, full length windows opened to a railing, overlooking the pool area. Seemed well sound-proofed room; heard little noise (none of the recently mentioned construction...

Staff were great, breakfast was awesome, location was perfect, our sleep was quiet, beds comfy, and shower a lovely experience. Only thing is the parking garage has a very tight turn and scratches on your vehicle are highly likely if you're not EXTREMELY careful.

Central location for the old town and restaurants. Clean and well kept. Easy check in at hotel a short walk away. Help with booking taxi to airport on return.

The staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was tok much trouble. You could relax at the hotel, the honesty bar was great and the pool area was a nice place to chill out. Its also only a short walk into the city, alternatively there are buses running every 15 minutes. An added bonus is that the hotel is right by a hospital, so even the most accident prone people are catered for.

Returned for another stay at a first class hotel . The location is perfect to visit the museums and places of interest. Serve good gin and tonics. Service is excellent given by the staff. Price is very reasonable compared to other hotels in the centre of Girona

A clean and tidy room in a quiet hotel just a few minutes' walk away from the very centre of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I'd recommend it very much.

This is a beautiful hotel. Modern, clean, great location in a nice area. Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is great. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and you can also walk along the river to the old town. Pretty much perfect!

Excellent hotel, efficient staff were always available, room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Only drawback is that it's quite a trek into the City centre and rail/bus station

This is a very pleasant hotel with spacious, comfortable, rooms at a very reasonable price. It is well situated within easy walking distance of the bus and train station and the old part of Girona. The staff are friendly and helpful, it is ideal for a one night stopover in this delightful city.

Great location, easy self check-in after hours, quiet, clean and tidy room, good check out time. We checked in late due to flight, code was emailed few hours prior to arrival, easy to check in via machine in reception. No problems. Great hotel for a city break.

Stunning location, jaw dropping views, a wonderful place to stay

We found the hotel to be very well run with friendly and caring staff. Our room was large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet and other meals were excellent. The hotel is in a beautiful, tranquil rural setting but in easy reach of Figueres, Girona and the coast.
