Nice quiet position with good facilities; loved the sports complex with the crazy golf, gym, pool etc.
9.7 /10 due to air con hit and miss and no lower than 22 deg . Would recommend though

Views were spectacular. Room was one of the nicest we have stayed. And that 100’s
Pool area was lovely. In fact I can’t fault the hotel in any department

Stayed at the Dorsett Gold Coast with my girlfriend and we had an amazing stay. For the £130 I paid, the hotel felt like it should have cost a lot more considering how nice everything was. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic.
The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location is perfect being right next to The Star Casino which made everything really convenient.
The only small hiccup was during check-in...

Blown away with the size of it! We got a free upgrade on arrival (probably due to staying in a couple of Meriton hotels on our trip). Our room was the full length of the block with a balcony on either side. Had its on chill out room as well as living area, dining area and kitchen. 3 TVs for the 2 of us and enough space to swing a herd of cats. Great place and would definitely stay again

I liked this place so much I am still even now tempted to buy a unit!!! The staff were absolutely awesome, really lovely and would do absolutely anything to help you. The room had the most amazing view of anywhere I have ever stayed... so much so I sent my team a video of me sat drinking beer on the patio looking at the sea view. The room has super fast wifi, great facilities... it is a home from home. Theres a fully fledged gym, great pool and a somewhat windy BBQ area on the roof... its...

Hotel is right on the beach with fantastic views of the Gold Coast from our very large balcony, we were on the 19th floor and the size of the one bedroom apartment was staging with every things you could wish for.

The apartment was lovely, modern and clean. The receptionist was very kind and held my booking after my flight was delayed for 24 hrs.
As i was there for 12 days, all my linen and bedding were changed midway through. Received a text to let me know when they would change them.
Would stay here again

Close by to great shopping and beautiful beach.
High rise building and views of ocean, but if you book a one bedroom apartment, there will be a garden view only.

When is the best time to go to Gilston?
The best time to go to Gilston is during the autumn and spring months, specifically from April to May and September to November, when the weather is most pleasant.
During these periods, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from the low 20s to high 20s Celsius, with less humidity and a lower chance of rainfall compared to the summer months. This makes it ideal for enjoying outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the region without the intense heat or tropical downpours.

Families will also find these months superb for a holiday.
