"Welcomed with a smile, very quickly checked in. Room very clean, smelt fresh. Staff friendly in the bar. Grounds a little tired looking but obviously doesn’t affect stay. Will definitely stay again and would recommend."

"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this hotel soon! "

"A lovely hotel in the centre of Carnforth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with good facilities, selection of tea and coffee in room. Modern shower room en suite which was spotless. Excellent restaurant facilities, bar and small garden to sit in. Rooftop terrace to enjoy a drink too"
