"Beautiful hotel by lake Brienz. Easy to find as it is along the road. Really enjoyed our stay and wished we had 1 more night to soak in the view. Its stunning view of lake Brienz. The hotel is equipped with all necessities you need for a short stay. I would highly recommend it to friends and family."

"Basic amenities, shared bathroom and toilet. Good water supply and hot water available. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier which are easy to use. Just bring own laundry soap and fabric conditioner. The lake view room that we had is a bit small size for 4 guests but it’s okay as we are there only to sleep. The mattress has done its time and I think needs replacing. Stunning views of the lake and surrounding areas from your balcony. We had a chance to swim in the lake, which is just few steps from the hostel. They provide towels but there is a charge if you swap it for a new one. The kitchen is also complete with cutleries, microwave, kettle and free tea and coffee. No oven or gas stove. They have plug adaptors if you need to use some electrical items. The hostel is also 5-10 minutes walk to CLOY pier / Strand hotel for the korean movie filming location. Cleaners are present every morning to clean toilets and empty rooms. Your room key is used to lock doors at night. Free Parking at the back of the hostel. Overall, our stay was good and will recommend the place if you are okay with basic comfort."

"Great location, very convenient for public transit. Facility is clean. Continental breakfast was ok, with shorter hours. We travelled during a heat wave, having AC or additional fans would have been great."

"The address needs a number, it's so vague we had to find it with help from the photo on expedia and a local resident. The place has great location with lake view, good parking, is very spacious and comfortable but we had an issue of the floor covered with a black film. The owner addressed this and had it mopped..it was better but still not the cleanest."

"INCREDIBLE spot in Brienz - this far exceeded our expectations! Host was communicative, responsive and quick to assist. The outdoor living space (which isn't pictured) is actually a quite nice little patio where you do in fact have a small view of Lake Brienz. We loved sitting out at night and watching the sun set over the water. Washer/dryer combo was amazing, and yes, the power goes off to them for noise regulation after 8PM, but as long as you start your cycle before 8PM, it will complete it. I was worried that it would cut off, but it completed it, which is helpful when you've been out all day hiking. Coop is a 2-minute walk, and train station 3-4 minutes. There is no AC but host provided us with fan upon request, so it was comfortable. This place is perfect for a family of 4. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Fantastic property in Brienz. We were very happy we chose to stay in the quieter town of Brienz. This place is great if you rent a car - ample parking and no extra cost. Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Perfect setup for a family with kids or people who want their own single beds. We woke up our last morning to hoofbeats outside our window. Bliss. :)"
