Excellent breakfast options, service and the views from the hotel was extremely beautiful. They helped us store our super heavy luggages as we arrived earlier to our check in time. And they also helped us call a taxi at a reasonable price when we checked out. Absolutely enjoyed staying there. Highly recommend this hotel. The Swiss countryside experience around the hotel is an added plus. Say hello to the sheep across the hotel.

Very nice breakfast. The experience is very interesting with cows right under balcony of the chalet, lambs nearby, great views of the lake and mountains, hiking trail right there. Few restaurants within walking distance. We got free bus card to travel to both Wilderswil and Interlaken railway stations with easy reach to all attractions.

The surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful. It’s inside the valley and gives us the best atmosphere. The balcony with the Mountain View is a bonus. They have public refrigerator to store the stuff, but not at the room. Don’t forget to take your stuff when you leave.

The views are incredible. The pool was an amazing amenity after a long day of touring around. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean. Eating options are limited in the area and we did not rent a car which wasn't ideal.

Beautiful Location & Lovely Family Stay We had a lovely family stay at Hotel Berghof Amaranth. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning Swiss mountain scenery and it was a great base for exploring Interlaken and the surrounding areas. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, our room was clean and comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing. The staff were super helpful, friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay, which made the room quite uncomfortable, particularly in the warmer weather. It would have made our stay much better if this had been working properly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful family memories here. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay while exploring the Interlaken region. 🇨🇭 Thank uou again to the amazing staff for a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay for 4 days. Breakfast was good. We had a fantastic view of the mountains and the staff were lovely. Catarina was extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay. Couldn’t fault it, highly recommend.

could not recommend a better spot to stay. be aware- it’s at the top of the hill so if you plan to bus and walk your luggage to the hotel it’s a lot! but SO WORTH IT. we had a balcony room with the most amazing views ever and all the farm animals. I felt like I was dreaming. 10/10 so happy to be stayed here and would literally spend a lifetime here if I could

Room had balcony with partial view of Lake Brienz and beautiful views of Mount Jungfrau with beautiful green valley and mountains near hotel which has a pool. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast had good coffee choices and the best flavored yogurts. We met the owner, Alex, hitchhiking from the hotel to the train station who drove us several times either from Interlaken from his famous Aare Korean BBQ restaurant to his hotel or to train station. Great hospitality from Alex!!! From Interlaken OST, the train ride to Wilderswill train station is about 5 minutes and then a short bus ride of a few minutes to a stop which is about 5-10 minutes walk uphill to hotel. Very quiet area to get a good night sleep and close to wilderswill train station to go to nearby Lauterbrunnen.

The breakfast is really good but the room and hotel itself is outdated. This hotel is located at a top of a hill in wilderswil so each day we had to walk on an upward hill for 10-15 mins. They do not offer pick up shuttle which I think would’ve made our experience a lot more enjoyable. If we had known, we would have not booked as it’s very far from the closest bus stop and scary at night. Our room (deluxe premium) did NOT have air conditioning so please be aware before booking.
