The Castle is within easy driving distance of Umbria's most renowned hilltop towns and many smaller ones. There are some very pretty walks into the surrounding forests. And a fantastic terrace at the top of the castle on which to sit in the sun and gaze at the sublime vistas. ##### Charles L. Bei den Temperaturen im August einfach wunderbar. Die Aussicht sucht ihresgleichen. Wir konnten uns nicht satt sehen. Die Zufahrtsstraße war etwas abenteuerlich, aber uns hat sie nicht abgeschreckt. The view from the roof terrace and from the terrace on the first floor is fantastic, the interior is beautifully restored and well-equipped, the surrounding is amazing - hiking paths start right behind the village. Most of the time we just liked to stay in the castle and to sit in the garden. Everything was just perfect: communication was easy, we had a warm, friendly welcome and received useful information.
