Clean, comfortable, safe & quiet little hotel with FREE parking and an ELEVATOR in a charming little village. Hotel staff also speaks English, friendly & helpful. Easy walk to restaurants nearby. Breakfast included with many selections, Highly recommend.

Great Spot

This was a great spot to stay in Gengenbach. Just outside the city wall and walkable to everything. Love it. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

This was a conveniently located medium-budget hotel, a short distance from the beautiful centre of Gengenbach. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. The room decor could do with a refresh and the shower was a bit leaky, but apart from that, it fulfilled its purpose really well. It is a great place to stay in that, once parked up, you are a short stroll to a selection of fine restaurants.

Nice facility, lovely and help full host and breakfast staff. I would have given this an overall rating of 5, but suite 22 is right above reception and was noisy with checkin and checkout times. Regardless I would recommend this place to friends and family.

We had a lovely stay! Staff was always nice and helpful - we especially loved Christy. Breakfast was always top tier and loved that they would make your individual egg order fresh and hot. Very easy walk to everything in the beautiful town. We’d certainly stay at the Pfeffermuhle again.

Boendet är av enkel karaktär. Vid sen Incheckning krävs att man får en kod till nyckelgömman för att få ut sin rumsnyckel, finns porttelefon och det dröjde att få tag på personal. När vi väl fick tag på någon fick vi bra hjälp och guidning. Parkering finns, men inte så många platser i anslutning till hotellet. Rummet var stort och fint, stor toalett. Det var tyvärr en väldigt varm sommardag och rummet hade bara en fläkt som tyvärr lät för högt för att användas nattetid. Kuddarna var stora och otympliga. Frukosten var bra. Läget på hotellet var toppen, enkelt att promenera in till centrum. Inte helt prisvärt då vi anser att priset för en natt, med denna kvalitet är lite för dyrt. Men, alla boenden i området ligger i övre prisklass denna period på sommaren.
