Welcome to The Vista, a large 4 bedroom + 3 bathroom cabin 5 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg AND with privacy and breathtaking VIEWS! This cabin is a new listing but we are not new to hosting. Why choose between downtown life and mountain life when you can have the best of BOTH worlds!? Just 5 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg where you can have all the moonshine, steak dinners, and entertainment your heart desires, but also come back to a stately wrap-around deck and jaw-dropping view of the Smoky Mountains! You can have it all! Max 2 dogs. Must be potty-trained, crate-trained, and crated at night and when home alone. Non-refundable $150 pet fee. If we find that you have failed to adhere to the policy (exceed max number of dogs, weight of dogs, etc) we will reserve the right to assess a minimum fine of $300. \*\*\*FIREPLACE: Fireplaces will be shut from April - October for the summer season. Just 5 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg, 10 minutes to the nearest trails and 15-20 minutes to the Sugarlands Visitor Center! (Of course, there's often traffic, but distance-wise it's just a stone's throw away!) Roads are all paved but the driveway and road right before the cabin has a steep 30 degree incline, so in winter months we would recommend a 4x4 drive or chains, and experienced driver who is comfortable with uphill drives. \*\*\*Security camera on outside of property only \*\*Because we are in the mountains, there is always the possibility of seeing bears, raccoons, and other wildlife around the cabin or even on the porch/yard. Please be careful not to leave any food/drinks/coolers/trash/etc outside or in your car, and do not approach wildlife. Hot tub, games, home theater, washer and dryer included. It also has a pack-n-play in the master bedroom and a high chair in the dinning room. Highly recommend. ##### Normarys P. The house is spacious comfortable and modern. We loved the added bonus of the movie room and pool table, plus the master bath appointments were great. We held back one star, due to the following :The lack of flexibility for an early check-in, even if for small fee. We understand that only basic essentials are provided, but would have loved an extra roll of paper towels for a party of three staying more than a week. Plus there are no dressers in the bedrooms, which I would recommend adding as a convenience for those who do not want to live out of their suitcase. There are spacious closets, but you kind of want to put your PJs, etc., in a drawer. Lastly, there are a couple of minor cosmetic repair repairs needed to the middle floor bath flooring and stair. I’d also recommend adding some throw blankets and just extra blankets in general as it’s typical with similar accommodations. An ironing board is also needed.
