Can’t ask for more First we just changed rental platforms so you won't see the rating/reviews. We had a 4.7 rating with 27 reviews. You will have the Roaring Fork Creek in your back yard and mountain views with this condo. Condo has 2 bedrooms/2 baths, each featuring a comfortable king bed. Condo has amenities like WiFi, AC/heat, a washer/dryer combo, fireplace and comfy furniture. You will have everything you need for a delightful stay. The perfect location - 3/4 mile walk to downtown. Catch the trolley to come back home! Gatehouse condo is located right on the Roaring Fork Creek for the best peace and quite from your balcony. The condo is single story so there are no steps to maneuver and an elevator to get you to the 5th floor. The master bedroom has king size bed, TV, and balcony entrance. The second bedroom also has a king bed, TV, and bath has hall entrance. Living room has comfy furniture, gas fire place and wet bar. With the open floor plan you can visit with everyone from the comfort of the living room. Enjoy the large smart TV or simply gaze out the sliding glass doors at the serene views. Cherry cabinets and granite counter tops invite you in. There are are many restaurants close you may not even want to cook. BUT if you do the kitchen is well equipped and you will enjoy just staying in. It is equipped with appliances, from a full-size refrigerator/freezer to a coffeemaker to a dishwasher, has plenty of counter space and elbow room. Food City is the local grocery is is only 1 ½ miles away. The spacious covered balcony overlooks the creek and has a view of the mountains. Shhhhhh – listen to the bubbling of the creek soothing all your worries away as you enjoy you coffee in the morning or cocktails at night. The perfect place to start or end your day. You don’t have to battle traffic and search for parking when you want to check out downtown Gatlinburg; you can walk or hop on the trolley with the stop located across the street. Once there, you have a wealth of entertainment options: the Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, Anakeesta, mini golf, sky lift, zip lines, and a tram ride that takes you up to Ober Mountain Ski Resort. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a 5 minute car ride. The most popular of the country’s national parks, it’s a must do - hiking trails, fishing, wildlife, waterfalls, and historic cabins. Hopefully you can find time to take a hike or at least visit the Sugarland’s Visitor’s Center and learn about the area. Make a loop on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and just MAYBE you will see a bear! We are located less than a half-hour from the hot spots of Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood, Tanger Outlet Mall, Dolly’s Stampede, the Old Mill District and the Titanic Museum. After a long day of hiking, skiing, sightseeing, exploring Dollywood, or shopping Pigeon Forge’s outlet mall, you can relax in the living room with the fireplace blazing. Fireplace is operable October – April. The perfect place to wind down after a fun filled day. Enjoy wading in the creek out back and soak up the peace and calm. The outdoor swimming pool is open from May – September. There is a 2 vehicle limit per condo. No trailers or oversize vehicles allowed. Nice creek just behind the condo. Great to sit on the back balcony of a morning & listen to running water. TV's in both bedrooms & the living room. Nice to have a washer & dryer if needed. Good air conditioning and good hot water for showers. There was a small bear on top of the dumpster one day when we went to our vehicle. Everything you would need was available. The only complaint is that the master bedroom was swarmed with lady bugs and stink bugs. They were all over which made it uncomfortable to sleep and leave drinks open in fear that it would fly in them. I found myself vacuuming every day. ##### Deborah M. It was clean and comfortable. It would have been a five other than two items. 1) We had a problem with lady bugs and stink bugs in the room on the creek side. 2) we were in a parking spot outside and several cars parked in non marked parking spaces blocking us in. Unit 592 is an amazing condo. We recently stayed there for a family wkend in the mountains and couldn't have loved it more. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay cozy and comfortable. The property manager was absolutely wonderful. She checked in with us on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed (we definitely did) and messaged us on check out to make sure our stay was everything we hoped and it definitely was. We will be staying at this condo again in the near future for sure! If you want an amazing place to stay that's convenient to everything in Gatlinburg this is it.
