  • Welcome to Smoky Mountain Highlander, a charming 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin nestled in Chalet Village—just 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

    Wake up to stunning views of Mt. LeConte from the upper deck with your morning coffee, or unwind in the hot tub on the lower deck as the sun sets behind the peaks. Inside, the main level features an open-concept kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for cozy gatherings.

    The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests:

    Two queen bedrooms, each with a full bath

    A queen sleeper sofa in the lower-level rec room

    A convenient half bath downstairs

    The loft offers a quiet nook for reading or relaxing, while the rec room downstairs includes a pool table and lounge space that opens to the hot tub deck.

    Located just 15 minutes from the excitement of Pigeon Forge, this mountain retreat offers both serenity and easy access to local attractions. Please note: roads are paved but steep—4WD or snow chains may be required during winter weather.

The house was excellent. The back deck looked out over Gatlinburg allowing us to watch the tram on Ober mountain. Being at the end of the road, we had minimal distraction from neighbors. I would imagine the view with the leaves changing would be indescribable. The dining table provided us with a great amount of space to play games. We were able to communicate with the host very easily. Ease of access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg was absolute perfection.

Love the views and the wood burning fireplace, very comfortable and clean and private, really enjoyed our stay here and did I mention the great views of the morning sunrise, can’t beat it.

Great, cozy cabin!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin! The house fit our needs perfectly. Our boys loved the pool room, we loved the proximity to the National park and Gatlinburg. The hot tub was a must after hiking to the top of Mt. LeConte. We’d love to come back again!

Wonderful stay

This property was absolutely beautiful and clean. It has an amazing view and had plenty of room for our family of 6. Our kids (ages 7-16) thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well. My only suggestion would be to have some beach towels for the hot tub!

Smoky Mountain Hideaway

Great location and nice property. Tucked away at the end of a dead end road and cabin is very nice. The pool table is a nice amenity, my husband and son enjoyed it. Could use a little deep cleaning (baseboards and bathrooms) but we really enjoyed our stay

Beautiful Mountain Escape

Everything about this unique mountain top chalet was perfect, highly recommend. The driveway is a bit challenging but you don’t get that private mountain top view without climbing the mountain.

The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and more private than I expected. The view from the deck is phenomenal, and we loved having breakfast outside as the sun rose over the mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub and even got a quick glimpse of two bears a level below peeking out of the woods! They scurried away at the sight of us (in case anyone feeling wary about them). The location was great - quiet and private, yet a very quick trip into town. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, plenty of towels, and the TV setup made it easy enough to login to Netflix, etc. We would stay here again!
