Bear’s Den: Near Downtown Gatlinburg & Rocky Top

  • The Bear's Den is a true log cabin in the heart of Gatlinburg. Whether it be the cozy cabin decor or the beautiful mountain view, we think that you will love our mountain getaway. Only 3 miles from downtown, you will easily be able to enjoy all of the attractions! Or, stay in and enjoy the privacy next to the fireplace or in the brand new hot tub. In the summer time, the resort also offers two pools, one of which is walking distance from the property. There is also a nearby playground for the kids and pavilion for entertaining. We love our repeat guests and hope that you will make the Bear's Den your home away from home in the Smokies!

Great cabin, great location!

We really enjoyed the cabin! Everything was great - the location, the neighborhood, the deck with the hot tub, and access to the pool just a short walk away. We've stayed at a few different places around Gatlinburg over the past five years, but this was by far our favorite!

Mountain retreat in Gatlinburg

My wife and I enjoyed a few days shopping and dining in and around Gatlinburg, but we really enjoyed the private seclusion and ammenities this cabin had to offer. I would love to come back to stay again!

Beautiful setting, a lot of space for a family with two youngsters! Comfortable furniture and beds, nice full kitchen. Fantastic deck area, including furniture and hot tub- utilized multiple times a day! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Loved this lil place. Nice, quiet and cozy spot to decompress. The fireplace didn't work for us during our stay but the host was made aware and responded quickly. The cabin is equipped with basic necessities and the hot tub is a great feature. We definitely would stay here again. 5 days did not seem long enough!

Very convenient place to stay for soccer tournaments

Our stay was very pleasant. The house is extremely clean. Very close (within 5 min.)to Rocky Top Sports World. Doesn’t take long to get to the cabin from main road, so not having to drive all the way up a mountain was a plus! The bedroom downstairs is only a full and not very comfortable. The upstairs bed was way better and bigger. Perfect for up to 4 people.

Cozy Little Cabin

This cozy cabin is in a great location. Decorated perfectly for bear country. Hot Tub on the deck was especially nice. We did not use the loft as it was just the 2 of us but very roomy over all. We even saw a bear in front of the cabin just slowly walking across the street.. Cabin could use a hot pad & a cookie sheet type pan for cooking in the oven. The bed is a full size which I overlooked when booking but husband & I managed okay. Other than the size of bed, we would rent again. Host was very responsive when contacted.
