Surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, this spacious mountain retreat offers the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and convenience—just 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, with easy access to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Ober Mountain, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

    Relax on the expansive two-level deck, where you'll find a private hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. The lower deck also features a one-of-a-kind custom mural painted by a local Gatlinburg artist, adding a unique touch to your stay.

    One of the biggest highlights of this property is its incredible wildlife viewing. Bears are frequent visitors to this area, and guests often see them every day during their stay. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the deck or unwinding in the hot tub after a day of exploring, you may be treated to the unforgettable sight of a black bear and her cubs or other local wildlife passing by. We enjoyed the peaceful location and the opportunity for relaxation. Bears everyday for sure! We had space to hang out together and space for individual time. The house was clean and the deck space was expansive. Kitchen was what we needed to feed our group and the appliances were in good shape, very clean. The only downside was beds had been arranged in three bedrooms, instead of four (possibly while new floor was being done), but all beds accounted for as listed. Host was reachable and very responsive to questions.

We had a great time here. Tucked away at the very top of a mountain-we saw bears around the house everyday we were here. Kids loved it. Hot tub, pool table and arcade made it a great place to stay with a 12 and 14 year old. Close to attractions!

Wonderful chalet

We had a great time staying in this chalet. Irene quickly responded and resolved our needs. We saw many bears (9 in 1 day) and enjoyed all the amenities that were available. It was worth the reservation and helped make our vacation restful.

Clean and spacious

Our group of 6 had a wonderful relaxing stay at the chalet. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and it was actually nice to have it, the kitchen, and living room all open in one area (this way we could all do our own things but still be together). The location was great....short drive to Ober Mt. and downtown Gatlinburg, yet far enough away from all the hustle and bustle.

Gatlinburg Watch

The area was just absolutely beautiful the wildlife was excellent as we had bears every day within 20 to 30' 40 feet of us and even walking around our deck in the morning as we drank our coffee it was fantastic. The host was phenomenal. She took care of anything we ever needed.

Winter break

We brought our grandsons for their first visit to Gatlinburg. This chalet was the perfect place for them. They were never bored. They enjoyed playing pool, video games and a never ending game of Monopoly. The chalet exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well stocked and in a very quiet area. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful family vacation spot

The cabin was as advertised and made for a spectacular family vacation that was filled with relaxation. The communication with the owners was answered very quickly. The views from the back deck were awesome and the sounds of nature were top class. We did have bear encounters everyday with them even coming on to the deck a few times. The neighbors were wonderful and pleasant, they would tell us about bear sightings around the cabin

A perfect getaway!

The cabin is clean, beautifully decorated, and perfect for a family getaway. Our February weekend was cold, and the cabin was incredibly cozy. I did not want to leave! Irene made the entire process super easy, and our family had no complaints. The road to the cabin is windy and narrow in places, but this seems to be the norm in the area. Our Instacart driver seemed unfazed! I would highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful vacation place in the Smokies!

Wonderful and relaxing place to unwind and enjoy quality time with family. We had 8 altogether ranging in ages 5 - 76 and this chalet fit everyone comfortably. The location was excellent because it was just outside of town away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to the endless activities that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. My only advice: be diligent about not leaving food out and properly dispose of your trash! There are SO many bears in the area, more than I've ever seen in all of our travels. Overall, the chalet was exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Family Vacation

It wasnt too hard to find. When we got.there we were all so happy. It was beautifully decorated, we played on the pool table almost every night, the hot tub was great to soak in after a long day, and it was just very cozy. We had an issue with the AC and Irene had someone out to look at it the same night and even had fans delievered to help us stay cool until.the unit was fixed. It was all just a really great expereince for the whole family and we are already planning to return next year!! Thank you Irene for a great stay

Perfect for weekend getaway

We stayed in this cabin for a weekend getaway over Valentines and it was perfect for our little group. Home is very spacious which was a nice surprise so we did not feel like we were on top of each other. It came stocked with almost everything we needed and between the pool table video game and hot tub we had plenty of stuff to keep us occupied while we were there. It’s located not far from town at all which was convenient!! While in the hot tube we could watch the lift from OBER mountain go up and down side of the mountain which was fun to see. Our only complaint is the roads are pretty steep getting up to the cabin but that is by no means the fault of the host or cabin. Just be prepared for some twist and turns and steep climbs. We would definitely stay again!!

Such a great chalet!

We adored our stay. It was plenty big enough for the 6 of us (ranging in age from 8 to 71). The view was just stunning. We played pool to our hearts content. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days of walking around. Communicating with the host was spot on. She was quick to get back with me about anything I had questions on. Checking in was a breeze. When you see that it’s on a winding road…. Take that seriously! Just take it easy on the roads and you’ll be fine. My only gripe was the cleanliness upon check in. Nothing to dampen the stay but as someone who is slightly attention detail oriented, I noticed it. Bedding and such was great, just random spots were missed that I noticed. We did see 2 bears near the chalet during our stay, too!

Adorable, clean, comfortable

This Chalet was so adorable with its white washed walls and wood beams. There are 3 bedrooms. The upstairs loft bedroom was very cozy and comfortable and has its own attached bathroom and a sitting area. The downstairs bedrooms are spacious. One bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The other bedroom has a queen and a bunkbed in the same room with a small room attached that contains a tent with a toddler sized mattress and the washing machine/dryer. The stairs are steep (not a problem for us but may be a concern for those with mobility issues). The hot tub was a big hit with the teens- especially at night with the lights on. The pool table was also a big hit! Overall, the teens LOVED this Chalet (which says a lot!). The adults agree! There are three levels which gives plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We saw bears (on the porch). We saw a mama and babies next door. Overall A. Thanks!

Saw bears everyday!!!

We really enjoyed our time here! We saw bears on property every day!! Check-in process was a breeze and the host was very prompt in her responses if we needed anything. We ran into a few minor issues that did not affect our stay. We brought them to the host’s attention and they were taking care of right away! The roads were a bit intimidating at first because we were first timers in the Smoky Mountains. Very narrow with no guardrails. But we quickly got used to them! Take it slow!! We enjoyed all three club houses and really enjoyed the hot tub after long days walking around Gatlinburg! Overall, our experience was wonderful!! We would most definitely stay here again! Only complaint would be that the cabin could use a good deep clean! There were cobwebs in almost every corner of the house. We got as many as we could. Stairs leading downstairs were sticky. We cleaned those. And both decks were covered with leaves and branches upon arrival. We gave both decks a good sweep.

It is great for being away from the bustle of Gatlinburg. It is a great spot for families with teenagers. Ours could hang out downstairs while we stayed upstairs and were quiet. The host was very responsive to any concerns. The property was neat and clean and just what we wanted. It's quite close to Gatlinburg and the GSMNP, but travelers do need to be aware that the roads to it are very steep, narrow, and winding.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay. Home was clean and smelled great upon arrival. The beds were really comfortable and clean. View is amazing from the hot tub. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Our 3 children had an absolute blast. Would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking to be close to Gatlinburg strip but still on top of the mountain.
