Although we only stayed for one night, our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean with great interiors. The bed was big and comfortable. The towels were very soft and the bathroom was very spacious. The staff were very welcoming too. We’ll definitely stay for longer next time we visit Ottawa.

While most places allow slightly early check-in within an hour of check-in time, they didn’t and were strict about the 4pm check-in. Check-out time is also 30 mins earlier than standard. This is a pretty basic place. Bonus was the security but otherwise, it’s no frills with minimal amenities. The room itself was basic. The shower stall was small even though the bathroom itself was large. There was some peeling wallpaper, the metal vent covering was distorted and didn’t close properly and drapes had a rip in them. That being said, these were cosmetic and the bed was fine. It was noisy though, despite being many floors up, as it was by a major street so traffic could be heard as well as the washrooms of the floor up and neighbours (windows and walls are not sound-proofed). Positives are the excellent location for anything university or Byward market/Rideau Centre and downtown, parking is convenient and not too expensive for downtown and security is tight. Good location, affordable option

Kept finding bugs in the room and the door was jammed resulting in being unable to close the door without maintenance assistance.

Wonderful location in the heart of the Byward Market. Valet parking was efficient but expensive. Our room was clean and chic with a fantastic shower. Staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooftop top terrace/restaurant had spectacular views with excellent service staff. We had a fantastic stay!
