This hotel is a hidden gem. We especially enjoyed the view of the river and the small creek from our room. It was great to be able to take a nice walk along the riverside trail, so close to the hotel. We also enjoyed the little village only a five minute walk from the hotel with an excellent café and an outstanding restaurant.
We made a last-minute decision to stay overnight in Gatineau and chose this hotel. It was in great proximity to an exciting little area called Place Laval. Lots to see, food to try, and drinks to drink. I would stay here again.

Location was awesome close to a great fancy dreamy part of Gatineau. Hotel itself was a little old and furnitures need more maintenance. It was clean and convenient. Underground parking had a good access and makes your stay easier specially in winter time. In general it worth the price you are paying.

Comfortable room and bedding. Only issue was that several lights were not working and the headboard/chair were in desperate need of resurfacing or replacing.

The room and hotel had all the required amenities and all the important elements of the room functioned well. The shower was great with lots of pressure, climate control was perfect, tv worked great, and the bed was fantastic. The facility could use some maintenance though as there was no ceiling fan in bathroom, elevator did not have floor number or vocal floor indicator, hot tub was broken and a funky smell was in the pool area. The gym was fantastic, one of the most well equipped hotel gyms I’ve seen. Overall I would recommend this place to others.

The fillet mignon was excellent choice in the hotel restaurant. It was well to my desire and the breakfast. The next morning was awesome. The Buffy not too expensive either $14 is a good price for what you get at the buffet.
I would definitely go back and especially have that fillet mignon in the restaurant

The property is dated but provided what I needed for a three day stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I would note that the room was not cleaned daily, but I was going to ask them not to bother, as I was alone, rarely in the room and perfectly able to make my bed and keep the place clean for my stay. Restaurant was only buffet style for breakfast and lunch but staff very nice (thanks Carol!). There is also a lot of construction in the area, but it was in a good location for my needs and met my needs. Able to walk across the nearby bridge to Ottawa and Parliament buildings as well so that was also a positive.

Nice hotel. The bathroom plug in the tub didn’t work, and the pool was closed, but good other than that. This is literally the second time I’ve said these comments in the last two week about two separate hotels, lol.
The room was spacious and well lit. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was in good condition. Check-in was kinda slow and there wasn't really any perks. Other than that, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend it and would most probably use it again if I ever visit Gatineau in the future.
Our room was very clean, large and spacious. Some upgrades have been made. Bed was very comfortable. Parking is not included, and there is a lot of construction directly adjacent to the hotel, and area in gener. There is a nice block of restaurants nearby though.
