The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful night. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. "If you are going to a Padres game this is the ideal location. Your room can look out towards Petco Park and you can see the Coronado bridge . Walking the downtown area is very easy from this location and public transportation is easily reachable in a couple of minutes "

"The in-place security measures did a lot to ease anxiety. There were attendant(s) at the door; and, you had to use room key to operate the elevator. I felt very safe! The roof-top deck was an added surprise. It afforded us a place to relax, meet other guest, sip our beverages (coffee and tea provided); also the view of the surrounding area was fantastic! The property is conveniently located and we were able to walk to restaurants, shops, the park, and the Convention Center. The airport is about 4 miles away! My husband and I enjoyed our stay; and, the staff was phenomonal! We highly recommend the Gaslamp Plaza Suites; and, we plan to stay there for future trips to San Diego! "
