"This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. Shower would also benefit from somewhere to put down toiletries etc. Restaurant excellent, lovely ambiance, food plentiful and very good although chips a little too crispy. "Very new, lovely hosts absolutely dog friendly, our dog had his own breakfast everyday! It is rural, so sometimes internet glitches, but we were there over a stormy weekend and the electric substation across the road blew up. Power was back on very quickly."

"For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location."
