"I had only spent one night in this property on a one-day trip to Scarborough. I was disappointed that my single room was facing the street rather then the North Sea; my private bathroom was also separate from my room, which was a bit inconvenient - but it had an excellent beach view. I struggled a bit with door lock too. However I had a sink in my room, I had access to an electric kettle, cups, coffee/tea/bottled water and towels/soap (no toiletries though) and it was pleasantly quiet in the...

"This is a nice place for sure. Well appointed and great views. You can have breakfast added on which was just okay. Our big dislike is the size of the room...very small. We were in #3. The sea view was great. When booking I thought king bed meant a bigger room, given the cost. The bed barely fit in the room. The room was frustratingly small. There are a couple of bigger rooms, but at a higher price point. Staff were great. I would not book there again."

"Beautiful house and gardens, conveniently situated to amenities. Sewerby Hall on the doorstep, lots of easy to more challenging walking routes. Flamborough Head close by where seals can be seen in the sea and basking on the beach. Bempton Cliffs also nearby, a must for bird lovers. We were welcomed by our host with a delicious cream tea. It has to be said Marton Grange is a credit to its owners and staff, thoroughly recommend a stay here. "

"It's a cheap and cheerful B&B except no breakfast at the moment (probably because of the season). Lots of cafés nearby though. Don't expect the height of luxury at £65 a night for a double room en suite. The view was to die for!"

"We stayed here to be close to Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough head for walking and birdwatching. Having a residents'car parking permit included in the price was excellent.
