Wonderful country Inn that welcomes dogs. Real fire and in a gorgeous setting. Evening meal was great and staff very helpful. At breakfast it was ‘do it yourself’ and the coffee machine was not working. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely Hotel with superb views up the valley of the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly. The food was good quality at a reasonable price. Disapointed that bar usually closed early and not at all on Monday evening.

A warm welcome

My wife and I had a lovely 24 hour stay. We were made to feel very welcome by all the team for the whole stay. The food was very good and all three of cask ales were very well conditioned. The location is excellent for scenery, tranquility and walking. The view from the beer garden must be one of the finest in England!

Lovely old country Inn, a bit quirky but absolutely great, really friendly staff, great breakfast plus an excellent evening menu. On top of that a truly spectacular location, will definitely return at some point.

Liam the host was excellent the food was nice and service great but hotel was tired light fittings hanging out toilet seat not fixed cleaning needs a review. The view was wonderful and very peaceful overall enjoyed our stay made better by host but hotel needs a refresh and some better mattresses
