"This is a nicely updated hotel, Staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice, good hot water, good WIFI, Breakfast is very basic, so if you are looking for a nice included breakfast this is not the hotel for you. I was planning to visit Turtle Mountain and Terelj National Park so this hotel is on the east side of the city closer to these attractions than most hotels"

"The staff accommodated an early arrival which was very appreciated (we had to pay for it, though). Breakfasts were satisfying. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Shower water spilled out onto floor when showering. Entire hotel was clean. Fridge did not get cold. Unfortunately no air conditioning. Overall an average experience. Would stay here again. "

![Sükhbaatar Square (Mongolian: Сүхбаатарын талбай, pronounced Sükhbaatariin Talbai) is the central square of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It is named after and features an equestrian statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar, one of the leaders of Mongolia's 1921 revolution. The statue is located directly in front of the Saaral Ordon (Government Palace).

![I haven't seen columns like these outside other Buddhist temples around Ulaanbaatar. Mostly you'll find a wall to the south to keep out the bad spirits. ![The Narantuul market is big and busy. It is open for 6 days of the week (not Tuesdays). It is especially interesting to see the uniquely Mongolian boots, belts, horse gear and bright orange ger furniture.
