The service, overall comfort of the room and, proficiency of the staff is excellent.
I had an excellent stay at the Ulaanbaatar Hotel. The check-in was efficient, the staff were very courteous and professional, and the check-out was quick. The room was comfortable, warm, clean, spacious and well equipped. The daily breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The hotel is very conveniently location - I walked to every meeting, restaurant and mall. I will definitely stay at the hotel again!
Our room 405 was clean, quiet and comfortable. All staff was courteous and professional.
Special thanks to the Concierge, a young lady, who assisted with our check-out on December 30th helped us to call a taxi for our transfer to the bus station. We are lforward to our upcoming stay on January 12th.
The building is old and spooky in a way.. but staff are all very nice. Decent breakfast. Good location. Convenience store in the building. It’s good for the price.
The property was very clean. I booked the last room and someone had smoked inside. I let the staff know and the room was changed the next morning which made the stay perfect. I ate breakfast at the hotel only because I was busy, but I was surprised by the menu of proper food instead of street fast foods like egg potato sausage at US/UK hotels.
An old soviet era hotel which has been well renovated. Right in the city centre, reception staff speak good English and arranged airport transfers and tours at a reasonable price.
Large, comfortable room. Good range of food for breakfast, dinner quality is more variable but excellent Chinese restaurant as well
Hotel room renovated, but I have facing the problem to check in the mid night as my flight delayed. No hotel staff in the counter and there are someone come out after I called the hotel landline.
I recently stayed at what was supposed to be a 5-star hotel, but my experience was far from luxurious. The most glaring issue was the transparent bathroom door—an absolutely terrible idea that made privacy impossible. On top of that, the roof was leaking, which was both annoying and unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.
There was no service phone in the room, making it difficult to contact the front desk or request any assistance. While the staff was very nice and the breakfast was pleasant, these positives couldn’t outweigh the numerous flaws in the hotel.
The hotel has a beautiful history, but unfortunately, that’s where the charm ends.
There wasn’t room to walk around the bed but there was more wardrobe space for hanging your clothes. The bathroom is spacious but the shower area is fully enclosed so it can be a little cramped for someone of a bigger size. Also, water can leak out of the shower into the toilet area if you’re not careful. The room isn’t very soundproof either and I could hear the loud music being played outside from some event. However, it was still a comfortable stay and I wouldn’t mind staying here again.
Room is spacious and modern. Bedroom slippers were also provided. Shampoo, shower gel and body lotion were in non-single use containers but would have been nice if there was also conditioner. Wasn’t much wardrobe space to hang clothes and the water from the shower tends to leak out onto the toilet bowl area. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop for the airport bus and had secure wifi so that was great. Overall, would choose to stay here again.
