Beautiful B&B just outside of Galway

Posted 19-Mar-2016
Pros: Good location, beautiful family home, fabulous scenery, great rooms with en suites ,wonderful people....everything was fabulous!!!!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Location: There is something for everyone here - great bars, restaurants, music, the Wild Atlantic Way, castles, Cliffs of Moher, beaches, water activities.
This fabulous family-run B&B was absolutely beautiful and the owners treated us like family. Our room had a stunning view of the Atlantic and we were no more than a 10 minutedrive from Galway City Center. We would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone traveling to the Galway area.

Guest house in good location.

Posted 01-Nov-2015
Pros: Good quiet location outside of main Galway centre but close enough for easy access to shops.
Cons: Great breakfast, but not included in room rate, so in comparison to some other guest houses this was a fairly expensive B&B.
Location: Galway has plenty of shops and there are loads of places to eat.
Stayed two nights. Room not overlarge but clean and comfortable and good front view of coast. Hospitable welcome from proprietor with useful tips of local eating and activities. Little on expensive side considering breakfast was an additional charge to room rate.

Fantastic B&B

Posted 17-Oct-2015 on Lastminute
Pros: Closeness to Galway City
Cons: Black out blind on the window would be good.
Perfect for exploring Galway and Coonemara National Park. Breakfast was great, excellent range including gluten free products which was a welcome surprise. Ann is an excellent host and very helpful.

Family room not big enough for four

Posted 12-Oct-2015 on Hotels
The family room we reserved was far too small for the four of us. We rented an extra room so the landlady gave us complimentary breakfasts for both nights for the four of us.

Wonderful place to stay!

Posted 24-Sep-2015 on Hotels
This was the first place we stayed on our travels around Ireland and it was lovely! The views were beautiful and there is a few nice places to walk to. It is best to have a car to get to Galway just as a note. Anne was so helpful and kind always checking up on us to make sure we were all set with everything! The room was comfortable and truly a great place to stay!

Very Relaxing

Posted 31-Aug-2015 on Hotels
We stayed for two days to start our tour of Ireland. This B&B was far enough to avoid crowds and was very relaxing. The views from the balcony were good. Each room and service was great. Breakfast for each table was custom ordered, hot and delicious. The one short coming is it is a little far from where the promenade stars and a car is necessary to get to Salthill or Galway.
