"A fantastic and friendly hotel. There are only around 40 rooms making the hotel intimate, communal and respectful. Food is all fresh and higher standard to other 4\* hotels l found. The snack bar l felt was little disappointing with just 1 or 2 selections of food (mainly pasties but occasionally hotdogs or pizzas). The beach is around 10 minute walk with sunbeds, bars and hotels. A bys stop is also putside that can tajevyiu to old town. Amenities are with 1 big pool and infant pool is right...

"Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! The breakfast buffet every day was great, our room had great facilities such as a balcony, huge shower/ room and great added extras. It was thoroughly cleaned everyday and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. We had parking everyday for our rented car and the hotel couldn’t be in a more convenient spot. Only a 15 minute drive to chania town centre, and not even a 2 minute walk to the beach. Honestly would come back again in a heartbeat."

"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. It’s about a 14 min walk to the beach (with my slower children) and a 10 min taxi into Chania. There is also a bus to take you to town and some of the other beaches that stops nearby but we didn’t do it because of elders in our group. There is a taverna around the corner that was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will be back again if we return to Crete. "
