"When we arrived in our room it had a bad odor. While I do know this room was only $70 I did not expect there to be this many problems. The blinds did not wrap around the window so people in the parking lot could see you. The sheets were torn and we had to get new ones. The over head sprinkler was leaking and they had paper towel shoved in there to absorb the water. The shower head was leaking. And the shower curtain wasnt long enough so all the water was going out of the shower flooding the room. There was no shampoo in the shower and there was barely any conditioner. The textured paint on the walls was peeling down the whole was by the bathroom. The hot tub jets were not clean. When you filled up the tub and turned on the jets there was a large number of black flakes and debris that shot out of them. The peep hole in the door had no insert in it so people in the hallway could just look in your room. The lock on the door wouldn't stay closed. The 2 employee that I spoke with were not concerned with the shampoo being out and didnt even offer to give me a replacement one. The other one was on her personal phone when I asked for a sheet and didnt even get off the phone when grabbing me another sheet. I would not stay here again. You are better off going into Newport to any other hotel than to stay here."

"Stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. The location was much farther from attractions than expected around 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and close to 50 minutes from parts of Pigeon Forge depending on traffic which added a lot of extra driving each day. The condo itself was smaller than it appeared in photos and several parts of the furniture finishes and amenities felt cheaply done or poorly maintained. The overall unit lacked the comfort and quality we expected based on the listing. The biggest issue was the lack of insulation between units. You could hear everything from surrounding condos including footsteps conversations water pipes showers toilets doors shutting and constant movement from the unit above. It repeatedly disrupted sleep late at night and early in the morning. Management acknowledged in writing that this is part of the building structure and stated all of their units are similar. Communication was frustrating as the property is run through a corporation rather than an individual host. Responses were slow dismissive and there was no meaningful attempt to resolve the issues despite reporting them immediately after the first night. There were also additional concerns including stained bedding broken sauna and steam room inconsistent WiFi and not enough towels for the full stay. Overall the stay felt below expectations and I would not book here again."

"The cabin was very nice, comfortable, and plenty of room. Layout was great for a large family.Only negatives were secondary bedrooms the mattresses were terrible, there wasn't a separate bathroom for the master, and the stairs going up of the driveway are sloped, very difficult to navigate. Need replacing."

"Cozy Little Cabin, located about 50 yards from highway. Charcoal grill has no grate and lid is bent so it would not close. You could do foil dinners but you cannot grill anything. The game room is in the second building which is nice. The hot tub is on the deck of the game room building. The "breathtaking views" are of the highway and the neighboring cabins. It is nice for 2 people. There are several TVs. It was a decent value for our needs. "

"Outdoor fireplace was a really nice place to sit and enjoy. Moonlight Ridge is a nice and reasonably secluded cabin. Michael is a great and attentive host, he ensured we needed for nothing during our stay."

"This place is BEAUTIFUL. No doubt about that- but the pictures in the listing deceive you. Obviously we’re taken when brand new. The air filter looks as if it had never been replaced. The vents in this place are disgusting. Dishes that had clearly been used were placed back into cabinets, bugs galore, spider webs, unmapped/unswept floors. I could go on unfortunately. I took lots of pics to document. You could tell that the place has been neglected as far as cleanliness goes which was such a bummer. They did offer to come clean but I was not moving around our plans to sit and wait/ pack up our stuff to have strangers come in while we were there to do a job that should have been done already. Despite my husband’s request to leave immediately, I decided to stay. The first night we go to bed and lo and behold a freaking bug crawled over my leg in the middle of the night… I turned the light on and saw that it was a COCKROACH. The next morning we woke to ants all in the shower and sink. The pool was murky and had stuff floating all around it. The door lock does not engage to the pool area so beware for children, as this is a major safety hazard. We ended up leaving early and let the staff know multiple times about the situations that kept occurring. They did respond with giving a cleaning fee reimbursement since we had to do a lot ourselves being that our two year old was into everything of course. They did not reimburse us for our missed out night. Not using this company again."
