"Overall, this was a nice stay. The lobby was very well maintained and exceptionally clean, and the dining area was also very nice. Breakfast was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. The only issues we encountered were with the rooms. Our first room, which was on the ground floor, had multiple spider webs with spider egg sacs behind the curtains and in the corners of the room. The curtain itself also had yellow staining along the bottom, as though it had gotten wet at some point and hadn’t been properly cleaned or replaced. We brought our concerns to the staff, and they promptly upgraded us to a nicer room, which we greatly appreciated. That room was much better overall, but there were still a few minor housekeeping issues. There were bugs inside the bathroom light fixture, the bathroom vent seemed to connect directly to the neighboring room, making it easy to hear conversations and other noise, and both the shampoo and soap dispensers were completely empty. Fortunately, these were all relatively minor issues that are easily correctable. Despite them, this was still probably one of the nicer places to stay in the area. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely wanted to make things right. I would recommend staying here, and if you notice anything concerning in your room, don’t hesitate to let the front desk know—they were very responsive and happy to help."

"A lovely cottage with plenty of included amenities that was close to shopping. We spent the week exploring the wide variety of national parks and forests that were short distances from the cottage. It was wonderful to be in a secluded setting that was just minutes from local businesses and major roadways. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we're ever in the area. Thank you to our hosts for sharing their lovely cottage with us for the week!"

"Like Best Western plus hotels. This one wasnt as nice as some others we stayed at on this trip. Breakfast was not great. Coffee maker was broken in room. Front desk person did let us park our motorcycles under under the front awning.much appreciated."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. While we experienced a couple of minor issues during our visit, the host was extremely responsive and addressed everything quickly, which we greatly appreciated.The house itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and stocked with just about everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of thought went into making guests feel at home. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again."

"Our group of friends from basic training met up after 30 years, and this location was peaceful and relaxing—perfect for reconnecting. A few people backed out last minute, which actually worked out, because the house is really a 3‑bedroom, not a 6‑bedroom as listed. There *is* a loft and two pullout couches (one on the main floor and one in the basement), but it would’ve been tight with the full group.The setting was quiet and enjoyable, and we appreciated the calm atmosphere. The biggest downside was that the Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all during our week‑long stay. If you plan on playing music, I’d recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker.Overall, we still enjoyed our time there."
