Beautiful area. Great place for children. Great walks. Dogs welcome. Clean communal kitchen. Comfortable spacious room. Helpful host. Only negative of the stay was a sagging foam mattress.

Green Resort is a beautiful spot, with really friendly and helpful staff. The lodge was clean and comfortable with space to relax on the deck, and the pool area is friendly and inviting. The neighbouring restaurant serves delicious sharing platters. Quite a walk to the beach, but well worth it!

Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront - the most impressive in Saint Jean de Luz, with a nice (simple) spa. This was the last hotel we stayed in on our tour of Northern Spain and, whilst we initially hesitated about staying 3 nights in a city, we are really pleased we did. The hotel is just a 15 minute walk from the city centre and Pamplona is a lovely place to visit - plenty to keep you occupied for a few days, and busy, but without the hoards of tourists you find in other popular cities in June. Wonderful room, friendly staff and lovely restaurant

Spacious room with enclosed deck area although directly overlooked by balconies of rooms above. Had hoped there would be bit of grass in the ‘garden’ for the dog as per other hotels on our trip, but totally covered with decking meant we had to take dog through hotel to entrance for a wee first thing in the morning. Hotel right next to public beach with nice beach bar and other amenities.

Parking is not too convenient, but using a nearby covered parking lot provide a safe and secure place.

Pierre et Vacances in Biarritz provided us with a comfortable and spacious room which was noticeably well equipped with good quality furnishings, dishes, cutlery and so on. There was ample storage space in the room and a very well laid-out bathroom with separate WC. There was a small balcony looking on to their attractive gardens, and the area was quiet and pleasant with excellent bakeries, small supermarkets and other shops no more than a couple of minutes away. An unexpected stay to break a long journey. This was an excellent, comfortable hotel with great service and a very good breakfast. The town of San Sebastian was lovely to visit as well - though the hotel is quite a steep walk above the town. If taking your car into town, be aware of the complex one-way system and head for the underground car parks.
