This is our favorite hotel to stay at in Frederick, MD. We often travel to see our daughter who lives and works in the area, and it is good to have such a nice place to stay near her while we visit. An added bonus is the wonderful people who are on the staff. They are warm welcoming and helpful when any thing is needed.

We loved being able to travel with our dog. We didn't have time to use the pool/hot tub but they looked great. Exercise room was a nice bonus. Room was clean, beds comfortable and front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. Great free breakfast with many options.

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton in suites in Freddrick fort-Detrick. Staff was very helpful and polite. Room was clean and comfortable I slept very well. Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast had everything I liked. I will be back again. Even the stores was close by that was a great plus.

The staff member who checked us in was just seeming to go through the motions. Handed us the key card and pointed to the direction of the elevator, but did not share any info such as breakfast hours, wifi password, etc. (and we didn't think to ask, due to being weary of a day of delayed travel)

Our check in was seamless! Our room was very clean and exactly what we needed. We loved the service staff, really friendly and helpful. The parking lot was SOO icy though and felt very unsafe and hard to know where to park. Additionally, it smelled a lot like weed on the main floor, perhaps from a guest. Other than that, no complaints.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. It is 10 minutes away from most shopping places and downtown. The only thing that really bothered me was that I got woken up multiple times by the staff/cleaning staff. They were slamming doors, knocking on peoples door loudly, throwing things, banging on wall, yelling in the hallway and I don’t know what else they were throwing around but the whole room was shaking and a loud bang next door woke us up disturbingly. We thought we were under attack! This was the day after new years eve and they were doing this around 8am! I stay at hotels so I can sleep and have a good rest before heading back on road and that did not happen here.

My issue was thermostat in our room wasn't working correctly. I could not control the Temp. I contacted the front desk and one of the cleaning staff came up and tried to help but was unable to get it. There was no maintenance staff on site to resolve our issue. We heard nothing further from the Front desk clerk. I addressed it in the morning but was referred to a phone number by the check out clerk. While the place was decent, we will not return to this property.
