The hotel was more like a former socialist building from the 80's. The receptionist lady was the highlight of the hotel. She was friendly and helpful. No lightning in the bathroom, TV was barely hanging of the wall, bedding seemed better times. Breakfast was ok, no gluten nor lactose free options. Self parking near the gate.

Great Value, will come again

Vivian the counter-lady was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is not exactly super close or next to the airport as the name suggests but, its not that far either. Maybe 8 miles, or around $35 euros taxi charge to give you an idea. Yes I would stay here again given the price which is a great value. Within walking distance of a few blocks you can find a little shopping center to buy food, clothes and anything you might need and forgot to bring with you.

The breakfast dinning room was very nicely decorated in a German way. It was very beautiful to look out the windows in the dinning room and bed room and see the flowering tress and hear the birds. The breakfast was quite good. They had a ramp to roll your suite case in and they had an elevator, which was very convenient. And one of the best parts was the parking was free and plenty of space. The rooms were clean and roomy and had a fridge and kettle and tea and coffee packages. It was less than 15 min. from the airport. They had wifi. The bed sheets were soft. The shower temperature was consistent (not too hot or too cold). They allowed for a late check out.

To get to the point, this is a rather old fashioned no frills typical German small hotel. Let’s start off with what was ok: cleanliness. My room was clean and absolutely no issues there. There was a refrigerator in the room and a coffee kettle but no coffee. I paid my own so not an issue. Was a nice September day, but ….. no air conditioning in my room. No way I would stay in the warmer months. Location is close enough to FRA that Uber was reasonably priced. There looked to be a restaurant of sorts - but if it was open I could not tell. Bed was quite spartan and low to the ground but clean and ok. Shower was small if you’re a normal sized man, well it’s a tight fit. No bathroom accessories. Towels were threadbare. Noisy (windows had to stay open for ventilation). Neighborhood surrounding a mix of industrial business park stuff and some houses. Internet was free - took a bit of finagling to get connected but hey - anything in Europe free of charge is good. This is truly a case of you get what you pay for. Norhing more or less. It’s ok for a place to sleep and tourist travel. For business travel - avoid.

breakfast was to open at 5 am - opened at 6 am when I was supposed to leave for the airport but I grudgingly was given a bag to take something along to eat . I was also charged with a further Euro 2.50 for bedclothes cleaning, before I even slept there and an additional Euro 5 because I said I cut up the plastic card (key for opening the door) because I couldn't find it. The airport shuttle was supposed to be free but I was charged Euro 30.-- for it and told it was not included. Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend a stay at this Hotel, as I was very disappointed with their service (friendliness).

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of yummy choices and fresh foods. The location is in an industrial area, but we felt very safe and it was very quiet. I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed there twice, several years apart. Both experiences were very similar.

Saying very close to the airport is take 20min from the hotel to the airport and cost 40€ by taxi or you use the public bus walk like 10min with your suitcase to the bus stop cost 5€. The hot pot water was broken. Everything was faraway to rich.
