Very comfortable. Great location and value for money.
Amazingly friendly people and service, from Amanda and Michael at front of house to Columb who tracked down a meal for us when we were past service time.
Great hotel located in the heart of Derry. The old city walls are literally right across the street. Location is close to many good bars and restraunts. The morning breakfast was very good. Only concern is that the parking garage is quite small so get there early if you have a car.
very friendly staff, very central location, very clean
Great Location. Easy access point for sights during day. Then back for Pub activity at night. The Host is Knowledgable , Helpful and Friendly
Clean and quiet rooms. Excellent location. Overall a good hotel to stay in.
Great restaurant. Parking a bit of an issue but we managed.
Very close to town. Parking is a nightmare so if you stay here you might be best off taking a bus from Belfast, but the rooms are lovely and the breakfast nice
If shopping ‘til you drop is your favourite pastime, then to stay in a hotel, guesthouse or B&B near to the Foyleside Shopping Centre in Derry-Londonderry would be just perfect. The city is small, so wherever you are it won’t be too far to carry all those bags full of purchases.
In Derry you are sure to find a complete range of accommodation whether you’re wanting high-end luxury hotels with fine dining or an economy B&B so you can save your pennies for that shopping trip.
The Foyleside Shopping Centre is located on the west side of the river Foyle, not too far from St Columb’s Cathedral and the iconic Peace Bridge, so you could mix a bit of culture with your retail therapy if you choose.
If you have your own car there is ample parking - a massive 1,500 spaces and two multi-storey car parks. Otherwise, the centre is well connected with both local bus and train services.
There are over 50 stores in the Foyleside Shopping Centre so you won’t have any difficulty in parting with your money!
Many of the shops are famous brand names, as you’d expect, but there are also a few local independent stores to add a bit of variety. Whether it’s fashion, jewellery and accessories, health and beauty products, mobile phones, books and stationery - the list is endless - you’ll find it here.
The centre has its own gift cards that can be used to buy from a number of retailers, for your convenience. It also has its very own free style service. So if you’re wondering which handbag might go with that little black number you’ve just bought for a special do, there’s someone there who could guide you.
If getting around is a bit of a problem for you, then you can borrow either a manual wheelchair or a powered scooter from Foyleside and even use them outside in the city centre.
The centre has a food quarter that seats 490 people and is host to a huge range of eateries, for meals such as pizza, burgers and noodles, or snacks like sandwiches. It promises to be a family-friendly zone with highchairs available and a soft play area for the kids.
If ever the weather lets you down, you could spend hours in the Foyleside Shopping Centre, before heading back to your hotel to admire all your purchases.
