"The Shipquay Hotel is an elegant boutique hotel with a great location within the city walls of Derry. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant serves great food, and there is also a bar in the Lower Ground Floor. Due to its location, there is no onsite parking, but there is free street parking nearby overnight, and the nearby parking lots are really cheap for daytime parking while you do the sights."

"Met at the door by a friendly concierge who took my car to the valet parking facility. Staff at reception also very friendly and welcoming. We stayed one night and had a reservation for dinner in the Wig and Gown. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. I went for the Tomahawk steak(highly recommend this!). They stock craft beer at the bar including Barking Bishop which was nice too. The whole hotel is spotless, rooms well decorated and comfortable beds. This was my first time staying here and I will be back in the near future. Highly recommended "
