"This was by far in all my travels to the UK (this was my 4th) the nicest, most comfortable, best all around hotel I stayed at. Staff was so incredibly friendly! "Beautiful 200 year old hotel with lots of character. We were upgraded to a suite which was amazing. Enjoyed sitting in our bay window overlooking the river and people walking the streets. Excellent location. Just across the bridge to the town centre. Street parking nearby which was free after 5:00 until 10:15 the next day. Good breakfast. Staff at reception and breakfast were very personableu. Cleaning staff were great too. "

"We found it to be quite charming and relaxing. The only negative is their restaurant can't handle the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. We had to walk down the street and pick up Chinese food. That made the experience less than perfect "
