  • Pelican Beach #205 is a premier one-bedroom fabulous beachfront condo 'on the sand' with panoramic views of the Gulf of America. The newly renovated one-bedroom/two-bath condo features a primary bedroom with a plush, memory foam king bed, an en-suite bath, and a private cable television. The hallway features recessed bunks - perfect for the younger ones in your family and an additional full bath.

    The new kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, cookware, and dishes. Fully stocked with linens, towels, and many extras.

    The living room offers a queen-sized sofa bed, lazy boy chairs, and a large Smart TV. The condo is 'streaming-friendly,' offering a new level of high-speed Wi-Fi internet access (1000 Mbps).

This property was amazing and exactly as pictured. It was modern, updated, and beautifully furnished. The furniture was comfortable, and the mattress in the master bedroom provided a great night's sleep. The view from the balcony was absolutely spectacular. David and Peggy were wonderful hosts. They sent detailed information before our arrival and followed up after check-in to make sure everything was going well. We especially loved being on the second floor—it made elevator access quick and convenient. Being able to rent beach chairs and umbrella right on the beach and simply walk out to relax was a huge bonus. Everything needed to enjoy the beautiful beach was just steps away. Parking was easy, and the resort staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful View!

Peggy and David were wonderful to work with. We loved the view and the great location. Bunk beds were a little small for teenage boys, but they still worked. Quiet building which is always nice when on vacation.

Loved our stay!

This place was just as described! It was very nice, comfortable, charming decor and extremely clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony was perfect for slow mornings w/ coffee and pretty views. It was located on the second floor, so we were able take the stairs & not have to wait for the elevator each time we went somewhere. The beach is close and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Destin!

We really enjoyed our stay

The property was as advertised. The condo was clean and comfortable. We really liked that it was on the second floor, so access to the beach was just down one set of stairs, which kept us from having to use the elevator everytime we took our things to the beach. Highly recommend this rental.

Destin Getaway

The condo met and exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and the connivence can’t be beat. There is a cafe, tiki bar, three pools and chair rentals all easily accessible in this beach front property. We enjoyed all the accommodations in the room. Highly recommend.

Amazing

Great get away for our 25th wedding anniversary. This condo was nice, the bathrooms could have been a tad big but all in all nice place. Glad it was on the second floor we didn't have to wait for the elevator. The air conditioner thermostat wasn't working but David the owner got it fixed the same day and boy were we glad with the 90 degree weather. Would stay there again.

Perfect location

We loved being on the second floor. And looking straight out to the golf. It is a beautiful condo. I will say, it wasn’t as clean as I was expecting. It didn’t seem that the bedding was washed, there were dead bugs in the corners of the rooms. With a hefty nightly charge, I would expect immaculate cleaning.

Beautiful Gulf View Oasis

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The condo was beautiful and modern, very clean and had just about everything we needed. It was a nice bonus to have a washer/dryer and a vacuum for all the sand. The gulf view was stunning, but nothing beat the location of this unit. The 2nd floor meant we never had to wait for elevators. A few steps away from the stairwell were the pools, tiki hut and beach entry. Plenty of things close by, or a short uber trip away. No issues whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again!

beautiful gulf

The property is a high rise condo building, 2nd floor with great gulf views. Very short, protected walk to the beach. The infinity outdoor pool is wonderful for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen has everything you would need. Washer/dryer is convenient. The walk Owners are very responsive. Peggy helped us a couple of times when we had questions.Unit could use a chest of drawers in the bedroom for longer stays like our month long stay.Building is very close to grocery stores and restaurants and pharmacies. Front desk staff are really good and helpful and there is a food service on the property which is great for quick breakfasts and lunches. We would return to Pelican Beach Resort.

Great host/horrible resort

Let me start by saying that both the host and the unit were fantastic. The unit was well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. However, we did find one issue: when we pulled out the sofa bed, we noticed that it hadn't been vacuumed under the cushions, and we had to clean up crumbs left by previous guests. The reason for my low ratings is not due to the host but rather the resort's rules and conditions, which I wish I had known about beforehand: Guests are not allowed to place their beach chairs near the water. Instead, you have to sit behind 5-6 rows of rental chairs, which blocked the airflow and made it quite miserable. We ended up driving to a public beach every day to be able to sit near the water without being asked to move. The resort is outdated and had a pervasive smell of rotting garbage. The bedroom is situated near the front door, and the noise from the hallway disturbed us all night, along with the hallway lights seeping through the shades. For as much as we paid, we should have unrestricted use of the beach. For this reason alone, I will not return to this resort.

The location of this condo and the view make this an excellent venue. It overlooks one of several pools and offers a beautiful view of the beach and gulf. We would stay here again, it was perfect for our family vacation.
