"Diamond Head Beach resort is a fantastic place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Friendly staff. Hotel has direct beach access as well as two hot tubs and a pool. Rooms are clean and the one bedroom suites are wonderful! Spacious suites with a small kitchen. The one I stayed in had a small refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen, sink, and area to use for food prep. This room was spacious and clean. Request an additional towels to be brought to my room Request a additional towels to be brought to my room and the staff who delivered the towels were very friendly The only downfall is the drinks at the bar are basically slushies. I was expecting to get an awesome creamy piña colada but instead it was just a basically a coconut pineapple slushy with some alcohol. Another benefit is the hotel now offers two beach chairs and an umbrella each day for their guest to use on the beach, highly recommend. "

"Always the perfect beach vacation destination. We got every year. The rooms are set up like efficiencies so we can cook meals if we don’t wanna go to eat every day. There’s a laundry area that’s always handy. The pool is fantastic. Flippers has the best burgers. The bay is usually full of dolphins and sting rays, this summer we even saw manatees. When the tide is low you can walk around the island and explore near the mangroves. The prettiest sunsets you’ll ever see. Lovers key state park is less than a 10 minutes drive and has so much to do and see. Never very crowded. The staff are awesome and friendly. We will continue to go to vacation here for many more years to come. Simply the best! "

"Close to beach and restaurant, one parking space provided other wise you would have to pay for parking by the day off site, close enough to beach so you could walk and carry what you need for the beach such as towels chair umbrella. Actually unless there was some place specifically you wanted to go you did not need your car once you are there, now there are restaurants in the area you may want to try that you need a car, but never had to worry about a parking space when you return, also close to Margaritaville, "

"Our stay was wonderful! Our rooms were new and large. Check in was quick and easy and we were even able to check in early. The pool was clean and fun. The Tiki Bar was a good time. The hotel is in a perfect location- so walkable to the beach and the restaurants and bars nearby. Plus free parking, right by your room! Great stay, definitely recommend. "

"I’ve stayed there with family many years before hurricane. It’s always been my favorite. The employees were very nice. Eddie at the front desk answered all our questions and always asked if things were going okay when we would run into him. Craig was another employee that was great, always talked to us to see if we needed anything. I was surprised how great the place looked after the destruction. They are doing a great job renovating it. They were still working on grill area but the pool was awesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quiet relaxing vacation. The kids loved the beach. They found lots of nice shells, even sand dollars. Even seen large blue crabs on our walk towards lovers key. We’ll be going back there for sure!! "
