Welcome to our Rock N Home property! Inspired by the famous guitar-shaped Hard Rock Hotel and Casino located just minutes away! We are very centrally located- close to the airport, Port Everglades, downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas, shopping, and the beach!
If you've ever been to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (The Giant Guitar) in Hollywood, FL, you'll notice upscale retro decor at its finest with notes of airy greenery and musical accents everywhere!
Our RockNHome Property is inspired by just that! But instead of being confined to a 1- or 2-bedroom hotel space, you'll have a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath space big enough to house your entire group!
From the moment you enter our home, you'll be greeted with a blue record player playing "Falling on my Head" by B.J. Thomas. It'll sit atop a revamped wine rack that's been turned into a beautiful blooming table. To the right of the entrance hall, you'll notice colorful drumsticks that have been turned into art decor. Immediately to your left as you continue to walk down you'll see the 1/2 bathroom. There you'll find inspirational quotes from the great Jimi Hendrix.
Entering the living room space, your eyes will be drawn to the wall collage of vintage records demanding your attention. The living room includes a TV with access to multiple streaming services, a futon couch that could be converted into a single twin size sleeper, as well as a 4 seater couch that could also be converted in a queen sized sleeper sofa. Directly across, you'll find drum cymbals and a guitar decorating the dining room wall.
Just outside on the patio terrace, your friends and family will be able to enjoy the warm Florida weather with a conversation patio furniture set. The patio terrace is open just as the other neighboring townhouses are. We do hope you're an animal lover as the neighborhood does seem to have both cats and dogs alike around!
As you make your way upstairs, you'll notice some more art pieces bringing you back memories to your favorite new and old musicians/bands! To the left of the stairs is the master bedroom. The room shares a contrast of dark grays and black tones with pops of vibrant colors. You'll see a large gold mirror that was encompassed by over 2000 colorful guitar picks! This is a large master bedroom with a TV, accent chair, mosaic stool, and enough space to comfortably set up a child's play pen (if needed we do provide one.) The master bath has beautiful stand alone tub as well as a shower to fit anyone's preference!
As you exit the master bedroom you'll find to the left, the laundry room equipped with both a washer and dryer set. Next to the laundry room will be the other full bathroom accompanied by an inspirational John Lennon quote. Just across, will be the eye grabbing bunkbed room. Ideal for kids but stylish enough for anyone to enjoy! The top bunk bed is twin sized and the lower bunk is a full size. We do have some toys for the young to enjoy here!
Going down the hall there will be two similar rooms in size with very contrasting colors! To the left will be the "Green Room" highlighting a casino theme! To the right will be the "Purple Room." Inside will be a TV, accent chair, and some cool Daft Punk and DJ wall art!
All in all, this home is wonderful for groups of friends or families looking to enjoy a modern yet nostalgic aesthetic in an incredibly central area where great food, entertainment, and events are around every corner!
The entire space is available for guest use. Please be aware this unit is a twin duplex, meaning our neighbors live on the other side. Please only use the north side of the building, including the driveway. Please do not mess or tamper with any cabinets or storage chests with locks on them. They are only to be used by the cleaning crew for restocking.
We live nearby so we're always reachable if you need us and we're happy to give our recommendations!
Our home is nestled in a quiet residential area that has many new construction town homes being built! This property is one of the very first new installments! It's very close to the airport, so you'll be able to see & hear the planes. The neighborhood, however, is very calm and quiet.
As you enter the private community, our home will be on your left hand side. We do have a double garage however, we have some items in the garage that currently take up one parking space. One vechile fits in the garage and you can also park 2 vehicles right outside of the garage as well. With this there's a total of 3 parking spots available. There is also first come, first serve communal guest parking.

Sometimes the platform will allow you to select the time in which you would like to arrive and or exit.
Please know that check in is always at 4PM and checkout at 11AM unless explicitly discussed and approved with us.

**House Rules Intro**
We have created our house rules sheet to preserve the integrity of your stay and future stays while also respecting the home and neighborhood! Following these rules will greatly help us as Vacation Rental hosts by making sure the home is taken care of during your stay. We understand that people are not a “one size fits all” category, so please reach out to us with any questions or concerns in this document. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!!
Mi casa, tu casa! But you wouldn’t intentionally damage or mess up your home, would you? We ask that you treat our property as if it was your very own as well! Please be aware of the condition of items in the house, and if you happen to notice anything broken when you arrive, please contact us to let us know.
We also ask that you please watch noise levels at night. We love our neighbors! They’re nice, we’re nice to them, and we hope you are nice to them too! Noise ordinances for quiet time in the city/neighborhood are at 10pm, so please respect these rules.

You hereby certify that you are at least 18 years of age and you are legally competent to enter into this Agreement, including the Release, Waiver, Assumption and Indemnity provisions contained herein. You agree that it is your express intent that this release shall bind the members of your family and spouse, if you are alive, and your heirs, assigns and personal representatives, if you are deceased, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
A/C Central System
Please do not have the AC thermostat below 60 degrees as this can freeze the ac unit causing damages that we will then pass along to you.
BBQ Grill(If applicable)
Any guests who plan to use our BBQ grill are welcome to do so, but please only use it if you are familiar with propane gas grills. Before & after each use, please turn on & off the propane tank and/or the knob that shuts the gas off and on. Different properties have different types. Please let us know if you have questions about the grill pertaining to your unit. Please turn on the vent fan while the grill is in use. In order to minimize a messy clean up, we ask that guests use foil and clean up the grill after use by using the grill cleaner formula provided and pouring out the drip pan. We don’t want to have grease as a fire hazard. Fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen, under the sink. The grill is clean and we’d like everyone to experience it that way! Any excess cleaning will result in additional cleaning fees. Homes in Fort Lauderdale will have copper sheets that are required for use and must be cleaned and not thrown away!
We cannot stress this enough! Our cleaners will charge us for additional cleaning, and we will in turn charge you.
Booking
When you book, you are agreeing to pay all charges for your booking including the Listing price, applicable fees like, taxes, and any other items identified during checkout (collectively, “Total Price”). You are also agreeing that C’est La Vie Home Away by Jordan Mikes LLC via Cosmic Property Management or their partners may charge the Payment Method used to book the Listing in order to collect Damage Claim amounts. When you receive the booking confirmation/invoice, a contract for Host Services (a "Reservation") is formed directly between you and the Host. In addition to these Terms, you will be subject to, and responsible for complying with, all terms of the Reservation, including without limitation, the cancellation policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the Listing or during checkout that apply to the Reservation. It is your responsibility to read and understand these rules, standards, policies, and requirements prior to booking a Listing. Be aware that some Hosts work with a co-host or as part of a team to provide their Host Services.
Broken items
If for any reason you break an item during your stay, please let us know immediately. We understand that accidents happen, but in order for us to fix or replace something for a future guest to enjoy, we will need to know that it is broken. We really appreciate your honesty. We take inventory of every single item in the home when it is being cleaned, including linens, appliances, towels, and decorations. If anything is missing - this will result in a fee equal to the item’s 150% replacement value.
