"Lovely breakfast plenty on offer . Lovely large bedroom and bathroom - very clean and tidy but don’t expect a view. Hotel does not have a car park but there is plenty public car parking nearby that doesn’t charge between 6pm & 8am "
THE SPACE TO STAY APARTHOTEL

"Low score cause we booked this place 4 months ago for 3 nights and they gave us an handicap room which we didn’t request and the bed was logged against the wall requiring one to crawl off the bed. Requested a room change and it was denied by the manager due to being full which it wasn’t yet. They show a restaurant picture on the front of their ad. No such place exists and no sign of construction started in June. False advertising…The coffee machine looks sophisticated but anything you press results in black coffee only and no milk. Washer and dryer require filling out an app application with frustrating results. Fortunately the housekeeper came to our rescue…We ordered pizza delivery but because their address doesn’t have a number, we were given the house across the street and told they knew where to deliver it. Not correct. We eventually got our pizza in a different parking lot. Potentially a nice operation but needs leadership focused on customer service and not their convenience…"

"My full experience of the Lovat Hotel and the wonderful staff made me and my partners stay so much more enjoyable. So much so we have booked a three day stay at the beginning of August. The staff were super friendly and went out of there way to make our stay that little bit more special. Can't wait to go back."

Staybridge Suites Dundee by IHG

"We used Staybridge Suites as a base to visit St. Andrew’s, Carnoustie and a day trip to Inverness. While initially booked for 2 nights, we extended to 4 because of the room comfort and breakfast option. The breakfast area staff were very nice. The parking lot fills quickly so on 2 nights we parked in the Dundee City lot 2 minutes down the street which is free from 6pm to 8 a.m. but you can pay when you park to extend your morning time if you want to sleep in. Ironically, I received a ticket for parking on the Staybridge property for one of the 2 nights I had paid notwithstanding that I had input my plate on both the electronic parking terminal as well as the hotel registration. While Staybridge quickly cancelled the parking offence, I’m still waiting to see if the car hire company is going to charge me a 35 pound admin fee for the incorrect charge."

"Overall an excellent hotel. Only issue was one of the 2 lifts was broken as under repair. On the 6th floor meant it was along wait going up or down. Stairs was not an option for me I am afraid. Other wise it was great value for money"

"Excellent location to stay in Dundee. Room was lovely although it got far too hot. No a/c 😢 We were facing the water so loads to see & worth the extra cost. Staff were helpful & we would go again if in Dundee"
