What a beautiful day to go hiking in the woods. It may have been blue skies but the hiking was very muddy from all the rain! #green
The Wiregate Trail. I don't know where the name for this trail comes from. I did not see wire or a gate anywhere along its rather short half-mile span. But it had this little creek, so I stopped to grab a few images.
Saltzman Road. One of the most popular entrances to the park is from the northern tip of Saltzman Road, just off Highway 30. Saltzman Road itself runs through the entire width of the park, from the northern to southern edge, or vice versa As with any path inside the park, the road is lined with a combination of evergreen and deciduous trees. The latter set off a display of color during the months of autumn. Coupled with the tremendous height of these old trees, the impression can be quite spectacular.

Very clean, quaint cute property near stadium in downtown Portland. Easy access to eats and cafes. Felt safe enough. Parking can be tricky in Portland but this property had parking outside the motel rooms. Will definitely stay here again.
