Portland, Oregon, is one of the coolest cities in the US. Portland International Airport is a 12-mile drive from downtown. It is responsible for almost all of Oregon’s air traffic and deals with 10 million passengers a year.
In addition to extensive shopping and dining facilities, the airport has a number of rotating art exhibitions in different locations, local musicians volunteer to play at the terminal building and there is even a movie theatre that shows short films about the Pacific Northwest.
