About this property

Historic loft with a view of the hills of Florence

  • Loft in Arcetri, one of Florence’s most exclusive areas. A Renaissance-era property completely renovated in an industrial style, with an adjacent garden and equipped with every comfort: kitchen with an island, living area with a film projector, king-size bed, and laundry room. Cosy and quiet, with a bucolic view of the Florentine hills. A unique and relaxing space. Just 5 minutes from the historic centre. A personal vehicle (car or Vespa) is recommended. An excellent base for exploring the city and the Chianti region.

I can’t say enough positive things about our host. Upon arrival he had left out some essentials to get us going on our first night which was HIGHLY appreciated. After long international flights, having some food and drinks in the house was a very nice touch. He went out of his way to provide very detailed and thorough itineraries for us based on our likes. He was extremely responsive on WhatsApp to any and all questions throughout the day and evening. He even came by with extra wood pellets for his pellet stove after we ran out. The loft is insanely beautiful. The remodel they did a few years back was done very well. It’s extremely comfortable and modern. The pictures don’t do it justice. The courtyard and the building the loft is a part of dates from the late 1200s, so you’re truly experiencing a bit of history when you stay there. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The roads are a little tricky getting up to the loft. Very narrow in places so be sure you have a smaller vehicle if you’re renting one for your stay. I highly recommend this loft.
