"Property and room we were in, four poster was beautiful. Some cobwebs on window and lamp shades. Expect for an old building. Lynsey at breakfast was helpful and just lovely! Good quality breakfast. Negative point no water!"

"Hotel is in a good location. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Lots of selection and tasty. Parking was easy and lovely views of race course. My only complaint, which is small, was that there were no bottles of water in the room and the tap water was not nice. I have never been to a hotel without bottles of water in the room. We arrived home from our party, got ready for bed and went to the mini bar assuming water would be in there. It was empty with a sign that said to get snacks from reception. I rang for room service for the water as we were ready for bed. Was told it would be £10 for two bottles of water and I’d have to come down for them as no room service after 9:45. Was already ready for bed so passed on that. My husband went down to get some from our car at 7am. Not ideal! Helpful hint, take your own water or buy it before you go to bed!"

"Staff very welcoming and informative. Helped with my VIP Expedia extra benefit drink, which was lovely and unexpected. Interior of the hotel is a beautiful thing to see. The rooms were clean, spacious and the biscuit selections in the rooms were on point. Parking was free and electric charging points were also free. Very happy to recommend and stay again if I’m in the area"

"Best night sleep I have had in a hotel It’s was quiet and comfortable,so cosy Staff went out of their way to help me Breakfast was great loved the sausages and the pots of jam was a lovely treat"
