"This is a super cute cottage to stay in when you want to relax, has great access to bus stops. With all the hills wouldn’t recommend if mobility is an issue. My only concern with this stay was that it was advertised as a king bed, but a queen bed was what was in the home. Booking our stays took the longest as we needed a king mattress, so to have it advertised and not be in the home was disappointing. "

"This could be a lovely property & appears to have been recently renovated to a good standard. However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. "The Mallard Cottage was comfortable throughout and cleanliness exceptional internet access was also excellent the view from our enclosed garden was wonderful the dog enjoyed his many walks around the orchard and adjoining field would highly recommend and hope to return again thank you Ruth and Andrew our friendly hosts"
