"Extremely friendly service. There is not an elevator so they will carry your luggage to your room and back down. There are no strangers at Balmoral Arms, you're treated as a very good friend. Main sitting room with a piano that even though it's out of tune --- they've tried to have it repaired several times --- people still gather and enjoy the sitting room. Would have liked to have seen a fire in the fireplace, but understand it's summertime. Breakfast & dinners were very good, and so far, the best sticky toffee pudding I've tasted when compared to other locations in Scotland."
Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant

"We had a brilliant stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel in Banchory and would happily return. The standout feature was definitely the team there, every member of the team was incredibly warm, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. Their friendliness and professionalism really made the whole experience special. The hotel itself is lovely, with a relaxing atmosphere and a great location. Everything was clean and comfortable, and overall we had a fantastic time. Some plugs next to the beds would the cherry on top. That aside, this was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend Tor Na Coille to anyone visiting the area"

"C'est joli, le personnel à l'arrivée était super gentil, le resto bar était génial, le déjeuner inclus c'est super, bien situé dans le petit village. Malheureusement, le matelas de notre chambre (7) était vraiment inconfortable, il penchait des 2 côtés et on ressentait tous les ressorts à l'intérieur...ça n'a pas été une bonne nuit mais au moins c'était juste pour une."
