"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

Maistra Select Belvedere Resort

8/10 Good

"No heating in the appartment at the end of October means 10degrees C at night outside… so it’s cold in the appartment as well."

Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna

8/10 Good

"Great hotel and perfect location for our event Ironman 70.3 Poreč! Smaller room than expected (compared to photos) but soon got used to it and we used the balcony to store the bike. Comfortable bed, with adequate storage and spacious bathroom. Daily room service to replenish towels and hotel service for extra pillows and anything else you may need. We had breakfast and dinner included - both services had a wide variety of foods at the buffet that were all delicious. They even had an earlier breakfast service provided on race day which was greatly appreciated! The chefs were there to cook fresh food to keep everything replenished, and the staff were always there to help tidy away. Me and my husband enjoyed trying out the different foods each night, specially the deserts! One thing we made use of was the sauna and wellness area which you could use for 2 hours per day. We used the Sauna and steam room a lot, specially post race. Towels, water and tea were provided. My husband also used the Gym there on the first night which we were pleasantly surprised by, lots of free weights, machines and a squat rack. One highlight for me was being able to get my hair done by the hotel hair dresser, I wanted some french plaits done for the race and she managed to squeeze me in the day before. Very reasonably priced and friendly. Overall really happy with our stay, friendly staff and great experience. Such a lovely place to stay, we would come back!"

Maistra Camping Amarin Mobile homes

10/10 Excellent

"My family and I were traveling and stumbled upon this camping/trailer house. We booked 2 nights and my wife absolutely loved it. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids. Two bathrooms. A large covered deck. And all the amenities you could ask for. On the beach with several pools as an alternate. Great stay."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Filipini?

The best time to visit Filipini is during the late spring to early autumn months, from May to October, when the weather is warm and sunny.

For those who enjoy warm weather for swimming and sunbathing, July and August are ideal. Temperatures are typically in the high 20s to low 30s Celsius, superb for spending time at the nearby beaches or enjoying outdoor activities. This is also peak season, so the area is at its liveliest with many events and open attractions.

If you prefer milder temperatures and fewer crowds, May, June, September, and October are excellent choices. The weather is still very pleasant, usually in the low to mid-20s, making it suitable for exploring the Istrian countryside, cycling, or visiting local vineyards and olive groves without the intense summer heat.

Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?

You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Filipini.

How much is the nightly rate at a Filipini hotel?

Prices for hotels in Filipini often vary, but you can find a great deal from £54 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
